G (o) — Go for a special occasion
W (ow) — Wowed by the service, and honestly great free bread. Walked in knowing the steak was going to wow, but the quality bread was a welcome surprise.
A (mbiance) — Detailed and attentive service. The servers bring out a selection of steaks for you to take your pick and make specific recommendations of sides to pair them with.
M (enu) — Best item was the WR Chicago Cut - cooked to a beautiful medium rare. Big enough for leftovers!
Runner up was the sides: the elote featured a hint of lime, generous parmesan cheese, a kick from the chili powder, and mayonnaise to top it all off. A great respite from the umami of the steak. The mushrooms were grilled to perfection, releasing a delicious, mouthwatering aroma.
Personally was not a huge fan of the New York Strip but that may be on me for ordering it medium well instead of medium rare. It was rather dry.
