Chill little boba spot downstairs at 88 Marketplace, great for a quick dessert after lunch

G (o) Go for a post-lunch boba, but I wouldn't come to 88 Marketplace just for this cafe

W (ow) Cute decor and fairy lights

A (mbiance) Casual spot with only one employee, service gets pretty slow during the post-lunch rush

M (enu) Got the Taro Fresh Milk with Sago, but be warned: it's not milk tea (though the menu doesn’t clarify that). It is taro infused milk. 3/5 of our party made the same mistake of confusing it with milk tea. The drink had too much sago, which made it hard to sip, and the taro was clumpy and poorly mixed. Overall, not a drink we’d return for.

The standout was the Oreo Egg Puff Waffle (left)—it took 10 minutes to cook, but the wait was worth it. Each bite was perfectly round, fluffy, and filled with a warm Oreo center.

Unfortunately, the Taro Mochi Egg Puff Waffle (right) didn’t hold up—it came out of the griddle flat and deflated, even when fresh.
